Celebrating the Milestones

One of the things important to us as a church family is celebrating important milestones in the lives of our children. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do on Sunday, June 2nd! We’re going to invite all of the kids who have passed certain milestones in school - along with their parents - to present them with an age appropriate Bible.

Please register your child if you have a child graduating from one of the following grades and would like to participate in our celebration Sunday!

• Kindergarten

• 5th Grade (elementary school)

• 8th Grade (middle school)

• 12th Grade (high school)

• College

Child Dedications

During the service, we'll have a dedicated time to pray over and dedicate our younger children as a church family. If you are interested in dedicating your child, please fill out the info card marking "I would like to dedicate my child or have questions about child dedication." 

Let’s keep celebrating at 11:30AM

We’ll have some cake to celebrate these milestones of our children! We'll ALSO be celebrating God's faithfulness to our church in how He provided through the roof fund through your generosity. After church, we'll pull out the grill and have hotdogs for all! We look forward to celebrating together with you!

All parents and students in Redemption Youth are invited to join us at the Happ's for a potluck and fun outside.

Join us at 5pm at Old Toby’s Mud Works in Arlington Heights. We will learn some basics of pottery making and, of course, have fun! To attend this event you must sign up by end of day July 8 so we can ensure there are enough supplies for everyone.

Transportation: Parents will be responsible for dropping off and picking up their kids for this event. If you need help with transportation please email Pastor Tim HERE.

All Junior High and High School students are invited to join us at 6:30pm at Tim and Mariah’s house for a BBQ, bonfire, and yard games.

Parents will be expected to provide transportation to and from Tim and Mariah’s house.

Join us Sunday morning as we worship Jesus together - and then stay to eat lots of tacos with us as we cheer on da Bears and celebrate Redemption’s 15th birthday out on the front yard after service!

Our friends from CALM Tacos will be serving up tacos (steak, carnitas, and veggie - along with all the fixings) - rice and beans - and horchata! But don't worry, the now famous “Redemption Lemonade” will be on tap as well.

And because nobody should have to choose between da church and da Bears - we’ll have the game on outside on the front porch as well! (yes…we know it’s the late kickoff, but it’ll still be on!)

No need to register, just bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on - and be sure to wear your Bears gear to church - let’s worship Jesus - let’s eat tacos - and let’s cheer on DA BEARS!
